There is something I can do while in the black screen with mouse pointer (movable) and this is the only thing, I can press the SHIFT key 5 times in a Use 'Last Known Good Configuration' if this boots into windows 7 or windows 8 then you probably didn't have much of a problem and you should be good to go.--Startup Repair you could try here
