This solution does not work and there is no touchpad option to choose from in the Mouse section. To do this, Microsoft provides a user option to disable the hot corner Charms Bar trigger when you move your mouse cursor into the top-right corner of your screen.
In Windows 8.1 it seems that no matter what I do it is stuck on the screen that happens to be my main screen. particularly waste of time about this task bar suggestions. I unchecked the "enable edge swipes" under mouse settings and that took care of it. Much easier to deal with accidental CHARMS display.
